Ruth The Faithful

A true woman of faith, Ruth is one of five women in the bible listed in the ancestry of Jesus. She was loyal, displayed humility, and appreciation to the Mother-in-law, Naomi.

A Moabite, she married into a Hebrew family. The father-in-law, brother-in-law, and husband died, leaving Naomi and both daughter-in-laws alone. When Naomi returns to Bethlehem, Ruth returns to her. In a foreign land, Ruth_free of family obligations, demonstrated loyalty, faith, and obedience to God.
